If I could ZERO stars, I would. It’s really disheartening that in 2026, companies are still choosing to scam customers. I contact precision garage repair last Sunday because of an incident where my garage was backed into and would not close and part of the door came off the tracks. I obviously did not want to sleep with my door open which the technician used to his advantage when pressuring me into paying for a service he DID NOT actually provide. I specifically asked the technician if I could pay to have the garage door shut, he stated no (which later I found out was a blatant LIE for money). He also specifically said I needed to pay to replace AT LEAST one panel which I found out from Precision Garage Phone rep that you all don’t even carry them on the truck so that was ANOTHER LIE! He DID NOT CHANGE any panel. Instead, he overcharged me for parts and insisted that he needed to change the system in my garage which was a lie. He merely added a bracket and straightened out my CURRENT PANEL (which he said he couldn’t do originally and needed to be replaced. The PANEL IS STILL DENTED). Not only did you all charge me almost $3,000 for what was SUPPOSED to be a panel change, you also MESSED UP my garage door system where it WILL NOT CLOSE unless I stand in my garage and hold the button down so it is still ZERO use to me even after paying you all nearly $3,000. I have contacted you all to try to amicably get my garage PROPERLY fixed and refunded and yet no resolve. I was told a “manager will contact you”, yet I have not been contacted. Hopefully some one will contact me at your earliest convenience to rectify this scam.

I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I’ve been a repeat customer for years and was seriously considering spending $4,000 on a new garage door with this company. Thankfully, I saw how they operate before moving forward. I asked for pricing upfront before scheduling help to connect my WiFi. They did not disclose the cost. After the visit, I was charged $99 for what amounted to pressing a button, something that took seconds and required no real service. Charging customers without clearly disclosing pricing beforehand is unacceptable. It feels misleading and shows a lack of transparency. This experience completely broke my trust. If this is how they handle a simple service call, I have no confidence in how they would handle larger, more expensive work. I will not be using them again, and I would caution others to get clear, written pricing before agreeing to any service.
