Good fast service. Beware that every little tiny thing they fix will be super over priced. New braided cable that would be 2 bucks at Home Depot? 200 bucks and 5 mins to replace with precision. They replaced my old unit with one that’s 600 bucks online, repaired a few worn parts on the door, and charged almost $2,500 dollars. The tech was nice tho and not his fault precision knows once they’re out there you’re boned.

I had a mixed experience with Precision Garage Door. I had a spring break on my garage door and I called them because of the good reviews. When you call them, an AI agent answers and offers to help with questions and scheduling. I asked it what their general price is to replace a spring and it replied about $100 installed. I figured this was probably a low price to include labor, but I was pretty surprised when their technician recommended two springs and quoted them at $550 each and a total closer to $2,000 after including additional parts. I ended up having them fix it since they were able to do it immediately, but the price was definitely high. In positives, they had a very quick turnaround from call to completion and the techs were polite, knowledgeable, and seemed to do good work.

He showed and explained all the options that the door needed and we agreed on one. He was very patient as I made my decision. He completed the work in a reasonable time. If I could ZERO stars, I would. It’s really disheartening that in 2026, companies are still choosing to scam customers. I contact precision garage repair last Sunday because of an incident where my garage was backed into and would not close and part of the door came off the tracks. I obviously did not want to sleep with my door open which the technician used to his advantage when pressuring me into paying for a service he DID NOT actually provide. I specifically asked the technician if I could pay to have the garage door shut, he stated no (which later I found out was a blatant LIE for money). He also specifically said I needed to pay to replace AT LEAST one panel which I found out from Precision Garage Phone rep that you all don’t even carry them on the truck so that was ANOTHER LIE! He DID NOT CHANGE any panel. Instead, he overcharged me for parts and insisted that he needed to change the system in my garage which was a lie. He merely added a bracket and straightened out my CURRENT PANEL (which he said he couldn’t do originally and needed to be replaced. The PANEL IS STILL DENTED). Not only did you all charge me almost $3,000 for what was SUPPOSED to be a panel change, you also MESSED UP my garage door system where it WILL NOT CLOSE unless I stand in my garage and hold the button down so it is still ZERO use to me even after paying you all nearly $3,000. I have contacted you all to try to amicably get my garage PROPERLY fixed and refunded and yet no resolve. I was told a “manager will contact you”, yet I have not been contacted. Hopefully some one will contact me at your earliest convenience to rectify this scam.
