I was not aware of average garage door part prices in my area. I was overcharged on items by about 5x what the going rate is. For instance, $48 per rotor assembly when other companies charge $16. Then with the repairs to the door complete, my door would still not open. They wanted another almost $3k to replace the opener. The company I eventually used only charged $600 for the complete installation: parts and labor. If I had called the other company first they could have fixed me up and I would not be hurting from the over $2k of what Precison charged. I will not use Precision ever again. I feel grossly taken advantage of for the parts and service I did receive. I feel like they are just looking for suckers to trust them and not realize their prices are insane.

I just moved into a new (older) house with a very noisy, very old garage door motor with dated and worn-down components. I called Precision to get a quote/assessment for repairs and possible replacement, and Tre came out that very afternoon to take a look. He walked me through every part of the garage door and told me all my options and what I could do and didn’t pressure me into anything. Since I’m moving into this house and just wanted to get stuff done, I decided to replace the motor and old components and he did it that day for a great price since I had just spent a lot of money on new appliances, and he even threw in better weather stripping for free when the original did not fit, which he did not have to do. When he was missing parts, he called someone to bring them in right away, and when we ran into a problem he called Jack who came over and saved the day with his 20+ years of experience. Long story short, it was a great demonstration of excellent customer service, kindness, and care for the job and the client, and he didn’t leave until he was sure I was happy with my garage door. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t call anyone else!

We wanted to get our garage door seal at the bottom fixed, since it was quite old and had started to tear on the sides. We called Precision after another, well-established company's technician said they could not do it since the door was too old and parts were not available. Tre from Precision came out and did the job in a few hours, putting a brand new seal on the door. He also answered all of our questions very thoroughly and was very patient (I had a lot of questions about the door itself and such). He took the time to make sure the work was done properly, and suggested a few additional things we might do down the road with pricing estimates as well. Would recommend Precision any time.

The entire process from beginning to end was phenomenal! I was originally a bit nervous about what all getting the garage door repaired would entail. A quick google search brought me here. The company sent Cody out the same day and he got to work immediately inspecting and assessing the issues. He was able to not only fix the problems but also left us with possibly the quietest garage door in the neighborhood! It’s been so loud for so long that we had honestly just accepted it for the freight train nuisance that it was. Cody’s easy going personality and expertise made for a great experience!
