I was so excited today when Precision Door told me they would be out in a couple of hours. After the springs broke on my garage door, I reviewed different vendors from a web search. Precision appeared to have enough of the OKC metro area covered and the services needed seemed to match up well. My contact with the primary phone number was sufficient to be able to set up a service time in my area and an email was received that indicated who the technician would be and the scheduled time for the appointment. Luke showed up promptly, examined the door and all working parts, prepared an estimate for work needed, and then set out to replace the springs and test the results. The whole process took about one hour, but I am sure any repair work is predicated on exactly how extensive the work must be, but for my schedule, the arrival time, the work time and the pleasant attitude during the process was generally appreciated.

I understand Monday was a holiday and I appreciate them coming same day however I was not pleased that when I asked why I had to pay another 150.00 for a second spring when I have owned the home 15 years and it's always only had just one to be told that's the way it is and he would only do the repair if I would pay for two. Also the ad on the website said call today and rec a discount excluding Sunday's but the tech advised me that the website promotions were not valid on Monday either

Dear Mike Thank you for taking the time to review our company. We understand your frustration. We apologize that the representative who scheduled your appointment was not clear in addressing the service fee offer. Please understand, we are one of the only (if not the only) company that will waive their service fee with a repair. Holidays are most certainly an exemption to this offer. Industry standard requires the replacement of two springs on a double door. Usually when one spring breaks the second spring which has as much wear and tear on it breaks shortly after this causing the homeowner a second headache. Knowing that both springs are replaced at the same time allows you to know how much wear there is on the springs.
