i'd been using a no-name garage door guy (prices were "unbeatable". The new door he installed worked well, at first. it started getting noisy and rough. The installer found nothing wrong on a callout. Yesterday it died - spring cable jumped spool and jammed door. Called my guy and no return call. I got serious and looked at the "big guys". Precision's website got my attention, for some reason. Called for an emergency repair and was scheduled the next morning. Hours later received a call from the "service tech" telling me he could be there in an hour. I jumped on it and the rest is history. He diagnosed the root cause of the problem within 10 minutes and gave me a price, guaranteeing I would be happy. He replaced the incorrectly sized springs and reset everything. The results were outstanding. The door has never been this quiet since the house was new. The tech was knowledgeable, experienced and fast. His confidence was reassuring. He did not bad mouth the previous installer - rather simply pointed out the facts. Refreshing. Turns out, when I went online later, that the "tech" was Russ, the owner/manager. I can do business with and recommend Precision.

I chose Precision based on my internet research of the company. The technician, Jack Walker, was on time and called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. A spring had broken on the door lift mechanism which was obvious. However over the years the mechanism had been pieced together with materials which were not as robust as they should have been for the weight of the old wooden door. These parts were in various stages of failure. Jack pointed these items out and gave me my options. He could have just fixed the spring and been on his way and I would have been happy. By replacing the items, I am now secure in knowing that my door will not need attention in the near future. Prompt, courteous, conscientious, and skilled workmanship, is what I expect, and Jack provided it all. Give them a call.

Fantastic service at lightning speed! I mistakenly parked too close to the door and it got caught on my car bumper, causing the opener to rip from the door. I called the guys at precision at 7pm and they were there to take a look the very next day at 8am. Unfortunately the damage was extensive and I needed an entirely new door, but Matt was able to come back to install it at 1pm the same day! The new install was complete by 2:30pm. They replaced everything from the spring to the rails in just 1.5hrs! It is a huge upgrade from my previous garage door (cheap install via the contractors who built my neighborhood). Service was fast, friendly and professional. I won’t use anyone else but Precision in the future, and highly recommend them to anyone!

After my installation he walked me through and showed me how it would work plus stated and helped me download my app so I could open and close my garage door from my cell phone. I love this. Had a spring break on a Saturday morning, and these guys had someone out and fixed me up in a couple hours from my initial call. They didn't charge a premium for their service either despite being more responsive, professional and organized than any other service company of this type I've ever had to work with. I would recommend these guys above all others and they did such an awesome job I will try to send all the work I can their way in hopes they will still be around in the future and operating the same way again should I ever need overhead door service again.

Following a cable malfunction and our unsuccessful attempt to repair it ourselves, the first company we called told us our only option was a new 18' door that would have to be ordered and that it would be 2-3 weeks before they could install it. After reading online reviews, we called Precision, described the problem, and were told by the very pleasant and knowledgable office manager that she believed Precision could help and that she would have a technician come to our house within 6 hours. Within 3 hours, Phillip Robinette called to say he could be here within 10 minutes if that would be convenient for us. Upon arriving, he conducted a thorough 25-point inspection, explained the problem, and offered us three detailed options - good, better, and best - to return the extremely heavy 50 year-old wooden door to safe operating condition. We chose the best option which included replacing all the moving parts - springs, bearings and bearing plates, drums, rollers, and cables - for 1/2 the cost we had been quoted for a new and less substantial door. This option also provided the added reassurance of a 5-year warranty. Phillip had everything he needed to complete the repairs in his service vehicle; his expertise was immediately evident; he explained what he was doing and why with exemplary patience and cordiality. In less than three hours we had a fully restored garage door that operated more smoothly and quietly than it had in years. Then, Phillip (after tactfully asking if we qualified) offered us a Senior Citizen's discount! We would recommend him and Precision without reservation to anyone who needs fast, efficient, absolutely first-rate garage door service.
