Overall, the service and repair we received was excellent! Scheduling was very easy and quick. Luke called 30m before the appointment start time to let us know he was en route and his expected arrival time. He was courteous, respectful, and friendly. Luke provided us with thorough information about the state of the problem and followed up with several options. He did not have a sales agenda (i.e., most expensive). While we were not expecting to select an option other than the basic spring replacement, we chose a more comprehensive repair package and felt very confident that we made the right choice. Luke worked quickly and did an amazing job! This was our first experience with garage repair, and we are pleased that it was with Precision!

Very quick service. I called at 4:45 PM and got a call from the tech he was on his way by 5:00. Repair was completed by 8:00. The operator was good about asking questions to make sure they would have what they needed to fix it on the spot. Russ did an excellent job of laying out the options with the pros and cons of each and letting the customer choose. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Mixed reviews. You guys fixed the broken spring and the door works great. The job was done timely and professional. My only complaint was that we were told it would likely be $150 to fix a broken spring but when on site, we were told the company would not put in just one spring, so I had to get two springs and the cost was near $400. I don't feel that $150 fix should have been communicated if that wasn't an option.

We got great service from Precision. I called Saturday evening because our garage door wouldn't open (broken spring). They came right on time Sunday morning. Russ looked at our garage door, thoroughly explained the problem and why it happened. He then gave three options to fix the problem with a price for each option and explained the pros and cons of each option. Fixed within a couple of hours. On top of that, Russ was friendly and very professional. Hopefully, I won't have to use a garage door repair place again but if I do, I will use none other than Precision.

The technician showed up promptly at 8 am as scheduled and had the problem fixed in less than 30 min. I had tried to fix the safety eyes and messed them up. He corrected the problem and only charged a service call. Very professional and knowledgeable . I'll surely recommend your service. Very impressed.

So long " Overhead Door "... There is a New Sheriff in town and his name is Russ with Precision Garage Door Service. From the beginning to the end...his Knowledge and Customer Service was Outstanding! I was amazed to find out that Precision also offers a warranty that is longer than 30 days! Russ not only fixed our garage door...he explained why the springs were breaking. The original springs were not the right ones for our door...imagine that!?! We used Overhead Door's in the past and will never use them again. They came out and put new springs in just 3 months ago and they broke. We called and they said they only a 30 day guarantee. We called Precision Garage Door because we had a coupon in the Valpak we got in the mail. I am so glad we called them. Russ was our technician and he was wonderful. We learned a lot about our garage door and just how off Overhead Door was in their installation. I highly recommend this company.

Rating: 2 Comments: Technician was promp courteous and professional(A+). My garage door had been acting up and seemed to be too heavy. My first thought was that the spring needed the tension to just be re-adjusted (both installed by company X in 2008 after a break)and also I had an issue with the photocell flashing and sunlight causing it to not function when at a certain angle (time of year.) I was told that in his opinion the springs were probably the wrong ones, nothing could be done about the sunlight issue, and did not know why the red photocell was flashing though door worked. The spring tension was never addressed in any way. He checked the opener and he offered me a quote for new springs which was double what I paid for the current springs. Also quoted me for overhaul and new opener as I had requested. He did suggest I call the company that installed springs in first place to make sure that I didnt have a warranty or such before proceding with a costly repair (good for him!A+)He was polite and professional though I had some doubts at the lack of inspection of some things I thought should have been looked at more closely. (spring tension, never actually ran door only manually lifted it) I called company X. Within 10 minutes they were at my house. Had researched and knew exact date of spring installation. Spring HAD loosened and was re tensioned in minutes. Serviced entire door. Reversed photo cell postions which stopped the flashing and eliminated the sunlight issue at least for now and explained what the cause was and that it would eventually develope prob again after time {honesty A+}. Also found where a cable had slipped off reel and replaced it properly) Checked opener and felt it was actually in very good shape for its age and told me what to look/listen for in the event it was beginning to fail. Told me what to lubricate, how often and with what and where to purchase it.) All for a very minimal service fee. I had heard about Precision from my wife who gave me a coupon she found. Thought I would give it a try but in hindsight it wasn't really a help at all. I felt like maybe the adjenda was more to sell new products/packages over service. Too bad. I am sold on company X.

Luke went out and tried to help customer. When customer told him that X company had just been out to fix his door Luke told customer that X company should warranty their work and he should call them. Luke thought he was doing customer a favor by having X company cover their warranty.

Broke a spring on the main double car door on a Friday afternoon late. Couldn't even open the door to get my truck out. Called Precision and they set me up with an 8:00 appointment for Saturday Morning. Russ called around 7:45 and was here and working by 8:00. Job was complete by 9:30 so I still had my entire Saturday free. Russ was very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of the repair. I would definitely call Precision again if I have a garage door issue. If you need a garage door fixed, Precision are the guys to call. You won't be disappointed.
