Started off strong, and I really enjoyed working with the sales team. They didn’t have the most competitive quote, but we went with them anyway. However, when my $7000 garage door got installed one of the panels was dented. (I get mistakes happen) The installers noticed and told me it would be swapped out. About a month later a new panel was installed that was also severely scratched. I was once again told that they would replace the panel. A few months later and they finally show up to swap it out but this time the wrong panel was ordered. Every time this happens I have to deal with MULTIPLE calls setting and then cancelling appointments before they finally show up. This company is a private equity nonsense machine, and is not “locally owned and operated” in any sense. You’ll be talking to a support center in Florida when you call. There are plenty of local OKC-based garage door companies, and I very much regret not doing more research.

I was fairly happy when I got my garage doors initially replaced by Precision in late 2022. Unfortunately, I've had to have them out 3 times to fix issues with my main door, all related to the poor quality of the installation (and parts) and shortcuts that were taken during install. This culminated yesterday where we had to spend over $2000 to fix our less than 4-year-old garage door (almost matching the original cost). Shoddy low-quality work. For any new work we'll be looking elsewhere and encourage folks to do the same.

I contacted Precision as I had one spring break on my garage door. They came out quickly and were polite. Teagan was the technician and he had another gentleman with him whose name I don't recall, but he did all the talking to start with. They took time to review everything and gave me an estimate of $4,000 to fix everything properly. I was shocked and said something to the effect of being retired and can't afford all that. What do I need to get operational. He clicked off a bunch of stuff too small to read on his notebook and gave me a new price of $2,000 stating new bracing is necessary as my door is sagging and bending the hinges and what they are connected to. I reluctantly agreed to have that work done. Later I came back out and Teagan was finishing up. I said it looks like he had repaired some of the hinges and he stated they just replaced them all. I said thanks, and his response was something to the effect of we like to help people out where we can. Two things: 1)I don't believe the hinges were actually replaced even though I was given the impression they were. I was told new ones would be about twice as thick as what I had, but the ones on there now look the same. 2)the price seems very high for what was done. They replaced both springs and charged, including labor, over $400 each. So, my questions are first, was the first quote just a shock value to make the second one look acceptable (it worked!), and second if you could have done it including the hinges for $2,000 why wasn't that in the original quote to begin with rather then adding discounts and telling me you had done extra? I'll not use Precision again in the future.

Had 2 bearings and 2 springs replaced with new high use equipment. After calling a few other local companies I have been price gouged. We were charged $1500 other companies maxed at $859. I will be seeking relief though consumer protection with our credit card company.

The guys were great. But, $900 plus dollars for 30 minutes of work is crazy. Not sure I would call Precision again for garage door services. Way too expensive.

The only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 is that I'm sure this company has excellent expertise workmanship, but they are even more experts as a predatory ripoff business. I was quoted $2,300 to replace the spring(s) assy, bearings/pulleys, cables & rollers on a double car garage, standard single door. It didn't even need half of this work. Because I was in a hurry, I ended up overpaying ($800 invoice) for only new cables and rollers (a 1-hour job). Look up the parts prices (they are inexpensive) and do the math on the labor: bare minimum $500/hour. It's just a garage door! Their parts & labor rates are much, much higher than a Bentley dealership. I had another company estimate. He was a ripoff too, but $1,800 was his total quote. He said it didn't need a new spring, or bearings/pulleys and moved onto his next job. At least he was somewhat honest. I'll never do business with Precision again.

The young lady who answered the phone was so incredibly sweet and worked it out to get someone to me quickly. The technician who came out was also very friendly. However, he told me I needed to replace my entire lift system and quoted me a price that was over $5000. When I said I couldn’t afford that right now he told me we could just replace certain parts and it will lower the price. That price was still well over $2000. I told him I wanted to get a quote from other companies and he said he could replace just the spring so I could at least get out of my garage for now. So he did that and I felt it was still extremely high but I had to be able to get my car out. I called another company and they would have replaced the spring for $750 less. The entire lift system that I was told that needed to be replace for over $5000 they would have done for $895. But turned out I didn’t need it anyway. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me because I told them my husband had just passed away. Their employees are very nice but I would not recommend using them until you get quotes from other reputable companies.

Overpriced , rail is still bent, invoice was not correct, should have been billed to to my LLC not my name, I have already paid. Tried calling and operator hung up

The service technician Jack Walker was superb. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He got the job done promptly and correctly, everything worked perfectly. He is an asset to this company. The reason for my 2-star rating is frankly the cost. The receipt I was given does not break down the parts vs labor, it only lists parts, so there's now way to tell how much I paid for the labor. I know I paid way too much. I'm not seeking any refund, I agreed to the cost before the work was performed. I was over a barrel and needed the repair done. Again, the service technician was excellent. But be sure to shop around, this place charges too much.

Late. Described maintenance procedures with a spray, didn’t leave the bottle that he said he leave - normally not a big deal, but since Precision has fallen into the pandemic trap of jacking up prices, everything is important. Appreciate the training going on. Lead was friendly. Relied on sending receipt via email. No itemization or warranty paperwork.

Rating: 2 Comments: Technician was promp courteous and professional(A+). My garage door had been acting up and seemed to be too heavy. My first thought was that the spring needed the tension to just be re-adjusted (both installed by company X in 2008 after a break)and also I had an issue with the photocell flashing and sunlight causing it to not function when at a certain angle (time of year.) I was told that in his opinion the springs were probably the wrong ones, nothing could be done about the sunlight issue, and did not know why the red photocell was flashing though door worked. The spring tension was never addressed in any way. He checked the opener and he offered me a quote for new springs which was double what I paid for the current springs. Also quoted me for overhaul and new opener as I had requested. He did suggest I call the company that installed springs in first place to make sure that I didnt have a warranty or such before proceding with a costly repair (good for him!A+)He was polite and professional though I had some doubts at the lack of inspection of some things I thought should have been looked at more closely. (spring tension, never actually ran door only manually lifted it) I called company X. Within 10 minutes they were at my house. Had researched and knew exact date of spring installation. Spring HAD loosened and was re tensioned in minutes. Serviced entire door. Reversed photo cell postions which stopped the flashing and eliminated the sunlight issue at least for now and explained what the cause was and that it would eventually develope prob again after time {honesty A+}. Also found where a cable had slipped off reel and replaced it properly) Checked opener and felt it was actually in very good shape for its age and told me what to look/listen for in the event it was beginning to fail. Told me what to lubricate, how often and with what and where to purchase it.) All for a very minimal service fee. I had heard about Precision from my wife who gave me a coupon she found. Thought I would give it a try but in hindsight it wasn't really a help at all. I felt like maybe the adjenda was more to sell new products/packages over service. Too bad. I am sold on company X.
